My Review:
I absolutely love the Amish. Amish cookbooks are the best. I own several and I really enjoy them. Their way of cooking is very reminiscent of potluck type meals that my family would bring to what we call in the South "dinner on the ground".

Every once in awhile at the baptist church that my grandmothers family attended they would have these cement tables filled with tons of delicious home cooked meals. As a child I absolutely loved the vast array of goodies that would abound there. Even now as a forty something wife and mother those were some of the best memories. Many of the family members that attended are no longer with us, so its definitely memories that I cherish.

The Amish Cooking Class Cookbook follows a series of books by Wanda E. Brunstetter, that are the Amish Cooking Class. Great reads about a couple that start some Amish cooking classes. The recipes follow along with that series of books. In the cookbook there are 11 different recipe categories.

The author has even included some pretty neat ones such as recipes for children and recipes for spreads and pickles. These aren't your average every day recipes. These are very similar to some old fashioned ones that my mother or grandmother would of made.

Fantastic cookbook and I love all the extras!
