My Review:
Devotionals during the holidays are a lot of fun. If gives you an intentional place for quiet during the busy times and it helps you retain focus on whats important. I like doing Christmas devotionals or Advent devotionals during the holidays because it gives me a nice break from the ordinary ones I do everyday.
Jesus Calling for Christmas is actually part of the Jesus Calling series of books by the same author. Sarah Young takes us on a Christmas journey into the birth of our Savior. Each page is divided up to present His birth the way it was presented all those years ago. This beautifully bound book with its beautiful prose and Scripture is also a great gift during the holiday season.
Each section is divided and gone through with Bible verses along side and a very short explanation or summary is given. The selections are magnificent and take us back to a simpler time for growth.
