Non-Edible Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments

I trusted my children to make some non-edible cinnamon Christmas ornaments recently. We had never done this before so I thought it would something fun to do. And I figured the cinnamon scent wafting through the house couldn't hurt either. I think they did a pretty good job considering.

We took the recipe from our Not Just Beans Cookbook that I had purchased several years ago. The recipe is on their website here. I think overall they turned out pretty well. I wanted to use a different ribbon but this red ribbon is all I had on hand.

  1. We used to make these when I taught preschool "way back when". Your house smells soooo good now doesn't it?

I'm following you with LF's, GFC, Blog Lovin', FB - would love a follow back when you have a moment or two. =D

Thanks for stopping by the Leap Frog linky today - all my details are on the sidebar I think.

  2. Those turned out great. My kids had fun making similar ones last year, but ours were not that smooth. (Maybe they played with the dough too much.)
