Review:Glipit Bible

 Glipit Bible-NLT
About the Book:
God’s love is perfect, patient, and personal. God’s Word teaches kids they are special to God and that they are loved with an everlasting love—and now they can express their faith in a unique way on these one-of-a-kind silicone Bible covers! The glipit Bible was designed for kids ages 8 to 12, giving them countless possibilities for creating their own designs and customizing their Bible covers. They can spell their name, make a design, form shapes, or just have fun popping the pieces on and off of their Bible covers! Each Bible comes with over 120 removable silicone pieces in 4 different colors (including glow in the dark) that pop right into place on the cover. The soft silicone cover material is removable and washable and also gives the Bibles a nice grip for little hands to carry.

The New Living Translation text is an excellent translation for kids because it’s so easy to read and understand.

My Review:
The Glipit Bible is a Bible like no other. While the Glipit is your standard New Living Translation Bible, the cover is very unique. The cover is made out of a type of silicone and comes with these small silicone pieces that will surely keep those little hands busy during those long sermons at church.

The cover along with the small, block type pieces that are included come in 4 different, very bright colors and there are over 120 of them. Your children can create a one of a kind Bible cover that is all their own. My boys added their thoughts....

My 10 yr old- "This Bible is awesome and I like the glow in the dark cross on the front!"

My 8 yr old- "This Bible is cool!"

I think this is a brilliant idea. I'm always trying to find things to keep their little hands and minds occupied and this seems perfect not to mention making a one of a kind creation. It's a hit!

The Glipit is geared towards 8-12 year olds. It is available in two colors blue and purple. You can also get it in English or Spanish. Purchase price is $24.99 and can be purchased at this link. It is set to be released in September 2013.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me at no charge for my honest review from Tyndale House Publishers.
