About the Author:
Jennifer Maggio walked away from a high-level career in Corporate America to answer the call to care for single moms. She founded the global nonprofit, The Life of a Single Mom Ministries, under the premise that no single mom should ever walk alone. She has now served more than 20,000 single mothers. The author of several single mom s books, including Overwhelmed: The Life of a Single Mom and The Church and the Single Mom, Maggio is considered one of the nation s leading authorities on single parent issues. Her own struggle through parenting children alone, when she was certain no one could possibly understand the depths of her struggle, fuels her God-given passion to see single parents living a life of complete freedom.

My Review:
Becoming a single mom is very hard as it is, the world is just not set up to benefit mothers that are struggling to provide for their children. But provide they must, so they surge ahead. Sometimes, more often than not, these strong ladies need some encouragement from other like minded women that have been in those same trenches and have come out the other side. Jennifer Maggio, knows the difficult task of raising a child on your own when the same thing happened to her when she became a single mom at the tender age of 17.

The author has taken on a mission to be of encouragement to these ladies so that they NEVER give up on themselves, their children, or on God. In the book, Peace & the Single Mom, the author has provided 50 daily devotionals of encouragement and inspiration to those moms that desperately need a rock to cling to. Along with thoughtful words are questions to ponder and think about and space for personal reflection. Beautifully written to give single moms the help "UP" they are so hungry for.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review by the author.
