Wigu's newly released children's book series, When I Grow Up I Want To Be..., features vocations many children dream about - a firefighter, a teacher, a soldier, a doctor - all combining engaging elements of storytelling with real world facts and information. Both educational and fun, the fully illustrated book series serves to introduce children to the people in their communities who serve others through their jobs. Each book takes its readers on a journey of discovery, exploring how one finds their career, learns the necessary skills, and how they excel and grow within their chosen field.

My Review:
Carlee shows her disapproval of the fact that her mother is the new teacher in her school. She spends her first day back practically hiding from everyone especially her friends. She does this because she is afraid of everyone making fun of her because her mother is teaching there. She gets so caught up in the embarrassment of it all that she starts looking into not becoming a teacher, a lifelong career goal of hers, but looking into other careers as to not force the same fate onto her own children some day.

But as soon as she runs into some of her friends and they explain how her mom is the greatest, it makes Carlee feel alot better about the situation. Each book in the When I Grow Up I Want To Be series features special history type pages filled with the subject material that, that particular book is addressing. For example, this one has many summarized biographies of very famous individuals contained therein, such as Ben Franklin, Marie Curie, and Albert Einstein just to name a few. This entire book series is an excellent place for children to learn how to deal with different social issues as well as historical topics and points of reference.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the publisher.
