My Review:
As a homeschool mom, it is extremely hard to find really good reference books for my children that will give them all the information they need to get their work done each day. This book is n excellent one that states all the facts about each president and then some. Juliette has done an outstanding job on the book! she takes all the boring facts or ones that children would consider boring and rounds it out with some additional fun facts about the president and his family. She begins with George Washington and ends with the current president Barack Obama. She even throws some things in a bout the first ladies as well.
For example, did you know that First Lady Michelle Obama and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt were the tallest First Ladies in U. S. history standing in at 5'11" tall. Or that during Washington's first term, he visited each state because he believed that each state should get to know who was running the government. This book was fun and informative and gives you a brief timeline on each president as well as so much more. My children had lots of fun reading and looking through it to learn more about our government.
