God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea: Experiencing God in the Midst of Everyday Moments
About the Book:
Life is full of challenges that keep us from spending time with God, and hinder us from discovering his presence in our day-to-day activities. But He is always there, ready to pour out His blessings. If you desire to experience the reality of God in the everyday moments of life, this devotional journey is for you. God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea will help you find the strength you need to weather every storm and experience new mercies every day.

About the Author:
Rose Chandler Johnson, a Southern girl from a tiny Georgia town, is the author of the devotional blog, Write Moments with God. In spite of years of disappointments and overwhelming obstacles, she has grown in her relationship with the Lord and learned how to find Him in the everyday moments of life. A devoted Christian and mother of six, she has been a French and English teacher over the last twenty years.

My Review:
Devotionals are a really great way for you to connect with God on a more personal level. I know for me sometimes it helps me get a better understanding of Scripture. So with that being said it is nice from time to time to read a devotional along with my daily Bible reading, a nice change if you will. The author being a Southern girl knows the importance of that sweet iced tea, it can be compared to a nice refreshing glass of water a way to get something new from scripture and from the Lord each day.

The author has provided us with the best backdrop to help keep us encouraged to keep us soldiering on through the tough or difficult times. These sort of times we will have a lot of and its always good that someone that has been there and done that shows us what helped them. It's comforting to me that she has come along side of me and tells me what worked for her and best of all it's in devotional form.

Each days devotion comes with thoughts from the author as well as scripture and my favorite part is the time of reflection she adds to each day. It helps you think through things that were just learned. Each days reading is very short and easy to discern. I love the one on What Does the Lord Require? the best. He only requires simple obedience  and that is something we can all manage for His greatness!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Litfuse Publicity.
