Review: Grace of God DVD

About the Product:
Having lost his faith many years ago, Detective Bill Broadly is called to investigate the disappearance of the local church’s collection plate. As he questions its various church members, rumors swirl as more congregants learn about the theft. When one unexpected church-goer confesses to stealing the funds, the confession resurrects Broadly’s views on God, and helps him see that through faith and belief there really is rebirth and redemption.

My Review:
Easter is a great holiday to use as a time of reflection, it is and should be totally focused on God and the fact He sent His Son to die for our sins. Sometimes within our daily struggles and just focusing on life in general we forget all that He has done for us. Grace of God, centers around The Ten Commandments and it leads the main character into a search of self and how each of the items discussed relates directly towards him even though he is investigating a theft. Don't you just love it when God shows us through as many means as necessary that there may be a message for us there as well? I love that we have a Father that will do whatever it takes to help His children!

Grace of God is a family friendly film being highly rated by Dove.org and the message is perfect for ages 12 and above. Loving our neighbors in spite of themselves or any known sin is the general message of the movie, in my opinion. My family enjoyed the movie and it's a great reminder to love others as Christ would have us to do. If you would like to learn more, you can at this link.
