Litfuse Review: A Heart's Promise by:Colleen Coble

About the Book:
A rival threatens Emmie's budding romance with Isaac.

At Fort Laramie, soldier Isaac Liddle determines he will court and win Emmie Croftner's hand. Though courting seems improbable for a woman in her condition, Emmie begins to care deeply for Issac and chafes as Jessica Dubois sets her bonnet for him.

When Jessica learns of Emmie's secret pregnancy, she blackmails her. With the Sioux Wars raging outside the safety of Fort Laramie, Emmie knows she cannot lose Isaac. But will he reject her--and her child--if he learns the truth?

My Review:
Emmie Croftner does her best to conceal her past, but every time she is around Isaac Liddle it gets harder and harder. Isaac is everything she could ask for in a man. He’s handsome, honest, and most of all he adores her. He says he would loved her unborn baby as his own, but if he new the truth behind the baby’s conception, would he still feel that way?

Isaac Liddle has never met someone like Emmie, someone so pretty and innocent. He would do anything for her, if only she would understand that. With the father of her baby dead, Isaac knows he can love both Emmie and that baby with everything in him. If only she would give him a chance.

Just as Emmie decides that she can trust Isaac, someone arrives at the encampment who wants to cause trouble for Emmie and Isaac. Do they trust one another enough to fight for the love they share? Or will it all come to pieces before them?

A Heart’s Promise is book five in the Journey of the Heart series. Colleen Coble is an amazing author. Every time I read one of her books, I’m so engrossed in the story. I can not wait till I get to read the last installment in this series. It’s sure to be a great story!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Litfuse.
