In this first book of the HeartSmart series, preschoolers are invited on a playdate with Emma. Together they learn the Lord’s Prayer and practice “teaching” it to Emma’s favorite teddy bear.
Introducing HeartSmart, a Scripture memory series designed to create opportunities for children to fill their heart with God’s Word. HeartSmart combines key Scriptures with songs, giving parents a spiritual formation path for building a strong foundation of faith.
The entire Lord’s Prayer is included, along with a custom song (free download with access code).
My Review:
A sweet children's book that explains the Lord's prayer a little better for young children ages 2-4 years. This book is perfect for little hands because its a board book with thick heavy pages. It is simple and to the point coming in at just under thirty pages. Emma, the main character takes you throughout her home for a visit and explains to the reader about a prayer that she is learning. The explanations are very easy to understand and the book is a very good conversation starter for the parent and the child.
The Heart Smart series is off to a great start with this being the first book in the series. I loved the plot-line and the illustrations are just precious.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Litfuse Publicity.
