This is the seventh book in the My Daily™series of devotionals with more than 500,000 units sold.

My Review:
Daily devotion is a common theme at our house. And since I am a reviewer a lot come across my desk. So take it from me, this is a good one. It is comprised of over 50 different pastors and ministry leaders. It is big enough for each week of the year. It isn't too stuffy or full. It gives you straight summary or lesson along with a verse or two to connect us back to the cross.

My favorite one was the one discussing David and talking about being proofed by God such as a metal smith does with fine metals. And how God will put you through the fire in order for all the impurities to rise to the surface. God knows what it will take to break us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

It's hard when it comes to that time of God refining us like pure gold. It is a hard road but one worth it, nonetheless. Devotionals are a great gift for the holidays and many times you can find some that beautifully bound and this is one of them. It would make a great gift this holiday season.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
