Review: The Bedtime Book by:Mary Engelbreit
About the Book:
Mama comes to tuck you in,
Pulls the covers to your chin,
Squeezes fingers, squeezes toes,
Lays a kiss upon your nose.
New York Times bestselling author Mary Engelbreit presents The Bedtime Book, a beautifully-illustrated picture book that pairs sleepy time text with Mary’s beloved, timeless art. From endearing poems and snuggly stories to sweet blessings and precious prayers, each page of The Bedtime Book features ways for you to read your little one to sleep. The Bedtime Book has a beautiful cover decorated with embossing and spot gloss.
My Review:
The Bedtime Book, is a sweet lovely book written in typical Mary Engelbreit fashion. It takes all things bedtime and turns them into the perfect read aloud for the snuggle-time at bedtime. With all the sweet words and pictures this book will help your little one drift off to dreamland way faster than any book ever could.
I loved the complete version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the illustrations of the woodland creatures are just precious. This book is for ages 4-8, but really it can be a great read aloud for younger ages, as well. This book is a combination of rhymes, fair tale type poems and little quips that children have enjoyed for years and will for years to come.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
