Review: The Beginner's Bible: Daniel and the Hungry Lions by:Kelly Pulley
About the Book:
Daniel and the Hungry Lions is a retelling of the favorite Old Testament Bible story about a faithful man named Daniel and his refusal to stop praying. Using art from the bestselling The Beginner's Bible, this story is available in the popular and affordable 8x8 softcover format. Daniel loves God and prays to him every day. But some jealous men have a plan to get him in trouble---they talk the king into making a law that will mean if they catch Daniel praying to anyone but the king, he must be put in the lions' den! Does this new law stop Daniel? NO!
My Review:
Daniel was a faithful servant of God's. He was obedient and prayed every day like he was suppose to according to God's law. He even ate according to that same law. Daniel is the perfect model of a Christian for our children and for us, as well to follow. Daniel did these things because he loved God so much. Some men that had an issue with Daniel and his relationship with God decided to get Daniel in trouble with the king.
So Daniel was thrown into a den of lions but little did they know, God was at work and He helped his faithful servant Daniel, that day. He shut the mouths of those lions and when someone was sent to check on Daniel the next day, what they found surprised them.
The Beginner's Bible: Daniel and the Hungry Lions is a board book that is written for ages 4-8. It is the perfect little gift book or to be used in a classroom setting. But it is great for the home library, too!
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
