Review: The Weekly Prayer Project for Kids by:M Hodgin

The Weekly Prayer Project for Kids: Journal, Pray, Reflect, and Connect with God

About the Book:

The Weekly Prayer Project for Kids?helps children 8 to 12 discover the power of all types of prayer and the impact it has in their lives. This year-long guided prayer journal encourages young readers to talk to God about their blessings, hopes, fears, dreams, and more.

Fun journaling prompts and beautiful photos and illustrations will keep kids engaged, while Bible verses and mindful reflections will deepen their faith as they develop their own personal relationship with God. And the weekly format is perfect for busy schedules while still building a regular habit.

My Review:

This is a great prayer journal for kids aged 8-12. It has some really great features that will help them with their praying and with writing down their overall feelings and thoughts. Each selection has scripture, a brief explanation. Then it has a place to write thoughts and inspirations as well as prayer requests.

This prayer journal contains 52 weeks worth of journaling and is divided into sections. Each section has a summary then dives into the weeks of journaling. The journaling will be weekly. It is a really good intro to journaling for young ages and is sure to help them navigate journaling in the future.
