My Review:
Such a moving story. Maybe I'm hormonal, but I really liked it. Setting takes place in the early 1900s and shows the inner strength of Nora Fenton. She feels the only way to save the family horse farm is to enter her colt; Arrow, in the Mississippi Fair. There is so much mystery and speculation surrounding her father's death, but this is just a distraction to the real problem troubling her and her family. She must focus on that.
Uncle Silas is all about solving the mystery more than anything else and he will get down to the bottom of it one way or another.
This book is an unwinding adventure and very simple. I loved every single second of it and hated for it to end.
