My Review:
A Second Cup of Hot Apple Cider is a book with a collection of heart warming grace filled stories used to instantly make you want to sit by a warm fire, bundled in a blanket until you close the book. It is touching and it is filled with short stories by many Canadian authors.
My favorite two stories were True Thanksgiving which tells of a woman who in the middle of her unforgivable pain had to learn that God does indeed make goodness out of our bad and even our sad experiences. My second favorite was When You're Understood You Can Put Up With Almost Anything, where the author talks about his long, lasting marriage and what has helped he and his wife, Janice stay so closely connected all these years.
The short stories are the perfect length. And you don't have to worry about continuing where you left off. They are very endearing and inspiring stories sure to lift any mood. If you are interested in purchasing the book you can do so at this link. There is also a discussion guide available if you would like to use it in a group setting, that link is here.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from bookfun.org.
