Review: The Last Way Home by:L Johnson

 The Last Way Home

**Disclosure**This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

About the Book:

"A disgraced former NHL player and a local artist are thrown together when her pottery studio burns to the ground on the day he returns to Prince Edward Island. But as they work together to rebuild, their secrets will come out, putting even their hearts on the line"

My Review:

This story had more of a modern feel to it. It is a story about a developing romance between a former hockey player and a local artist in the area of Prince Edward Island which is located in Canada. I've never been there but the pictures I have seen look stunning.

So upon the reading the store you will soon realize that Violet is basically a problem for Eli. In the fact that he is trying to mend fences with his family and she is in the way. She has an ax to grind with him in support of the family that have taken her in and she thinks he shouldnt be left off the hook so easily.

Eli has a lot of lost time to make up for. He has to fix things with his family. Its the most important thing to him at this present time no matter who stands in his way. This is definitely a good example of the prodigal son and his return.

Wasnt a favorite but was a nice change!
