Introductory Post: TRIP Program

I have 4 children and 3 out of the 4 know how to read. My oldest son Hunter who is age 10 hates to read and has a very difficult time reading. He has a hard time focusing and he is mildly dyslexic. Based on all of this and the fact that he is very mechanical I believe this is why he hates to read as much as he does. But being a homeschool mom that is when your role as mom and teacher HAVE to come together. I believe as we all do that reading is your key to learning. Bottom line you have to know how to read. So every day we trudge through another chapter book and everyday he pretty much hates it just the same.

Recently, I was told about a reading program T.R.I.P. that I would be allowed to review and that maybe my son would be helped by it. So in this post I will tell you more about the program as a little introduction and then every week I will update you on his progress. He is a little apprehensive about it,but I'm sure he will do fine. Now on to the introduction.......

T.R.I.P. is a reading program designed for children with  Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD and other reading problems. It comes to your home in software form or you can download it from their website so that your child can use it on your home based computer. The total program is 20 lessons that take your child about 30-45 minutes to complete averaging about 1-2 lessons a week. Here is the link to their website to learn more. We will begin this journey this week. Wish me luck!

Disclosure:  I received a free copy of this book/Ebook/Product to review. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC Regulations. I am part of The CWA Review Crew.
