Review:Not By Sight by:Kathy Herman

Not by Sight (Ozark Mountain Trilogy, #1)
About the Book:
Her Sister Couldn’t Be Alive … Could She? It had to be Riley Jo. She was certain. . .wasn’t she? But when Abby Cummings tells her mother she thought she saw her sister at the store, her mother quickly dismisses the idea. After all, Riley Jo and their father had been missing for years. Presumably dead. Yet Abby cannot ignore her intuition. Telling her friend J. D., they investigate. But J. D. may know more about the disappearance than he’s telling, or even realizes. And as they work to uncover what happened, all they have to go on is blind faith. Will it be enough. . .especially considering what the truth might be?

About the Author:
Best-selling suspense novelist Kathy Herman has written nineteen novels—including the Sophie Trace series, the Secrets of the Roux River Bayou series, the Seaport Suspense series, and the Phantom Hollow series—since retiring from her family’s Christian bookstore business. She and her husband, Paul, have three grown children and live in Tyler, Texas.

My Review:
Jimmy Dale Oldham has never been a good shot. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if you paid him to. And that is why when he was accused of shooting someone it seemed mind blowing to him. How could he? He is a terrible shot. But he was accused none the less by a stranger. A stranger I might add that disappeared once Jimmy Dale got his wits about him again.

Meanwhile fast forward five years and it is the five year anniversary that Micah and Riley Jo Cummings had disappeared. Many of rumors surfaced but many of those seem unfounded.

Abby Cummings and her brothers--Hawk and Jesse haven't seen their Dad and baby sister for five long years. To their mother Kate it seems like it was yesterday that their disappearance rocked their lives and forever transformed them. Leaving open wounds and alot of unanswered questions. Its not long before Abby spots a little girl she believes maybe her sister. But is it? And who was the man she was with? Soon all of these questions will have answers that will be to hard to hear.

This book is an active suspense novel. I say active because it has alot going on and alot to keep up with. It is chocked full of goodies, sure to delight those that like a good mystery!

**Disclosure** I received this book at no charge for my honest review from bookfun.org
