Review:Epic Fail by: Gordon Dabbs

Epic Fail: Their Loss, Your Gain
About the Book:
The Bible records stories of men and women who were both heroes and zeroes. We can learn from both. Welcome to a journey through the wisdom and life lessons offered in the stories of the Bible's greatest failures!

About the Author:
Gordon Dabbs is a native of the Ozarks (Neosho, MO) and a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. He has been married to Ila since 1993 and they have two really cool kids, Claudia and David. They also have a mean-looking but very sweet German Shepherd named Jane and Boo, the world’s fattest/laziest cat.

My Review:
Gordon Dabbs has put together an excellent resource for those of us wanting to learn from others past failures. And by doing so we will be able to move forward in our own lives onto bigger and better meaningful lives on fire for God.

Each chapter is a thorough study done on those people from the Bible that have done disastrous things to themselves and others. And God chose to turn it around like he always does and made something good come from it. God took those things and uses them to teach us how to do better and how to be better ib spite of their poor examples.

I know that I could definitely benefit from others past mistakes. Whether it was Judas Iscariot and his betrayal or Pharaoah and his hardened heart. We can take their mistakes or "Epic Fails" and make good use of them to deepen our intimacy with the Father.

Also included are end of the chapter questions to ponder on and think about to further your learning.
