About the Book:
Interesting how we experience such waves of emotion and thought. Many Christians, perhaps, feel as if this is not appropriate. The Psalms show it differently. The psalmists certainly share many changing emotions in their writings!

Here is a truth about God that is hard to grab hold of... He understands! To experience various waves of emotion is OK!

Journal your thoughts - be a psalmist!

In reading the book of Psalms, one quickly notices the total transparency of the psalmists as they reveal heartfelt emotions. As guided by the Holy Spirit, the psalmists not only relate their feelings, but also reveal great truths about Father God.

Their paths are not indifferent from our lives today! Our days are an ever-changing array of praises and shouts of joy, cries of anguish and pleas for help, acknowledging the goodness of God or questioning the ways of our foes.

Perhaps we are not capturing our thoughts and feelings in writing like the contributors of the Psalms did. Nevertheless as sons and daughters of the Most High God, we too are Psalmists!

Psalmist, I Am presents emotions and truths found in the book of Psalms. See how your emotions and thoughts of God, as revealed during your journey, align with those of the writers of the Psalms.

Psalmist, I Am will be helpful as your daily devotion, a Bible study aid, for journaling or as a gift for anyone who experiences emotional change in their relationship! May Psalmist, I Am stir your soul as you realize how much you have in common with the writers of the Psalms!

About the Author:
It is easy to see God's hand at work throughout my life as I now look back on its blessings. Loving parents and grand-parents ensured a caring family environment that so positively affects my home today. Having earned BS and MS degrees in college, the course was set for a career focused in food production. Current responsibilities allow me to see much of the world, which is a perfect match for one who enjoys travel! Having experienced phenomenal turnarounds due to His guiding touch I know that Father God reigns supreme in what we see as "good and bad" I love my life's role as son, brother, husband, and father. The outdoors behold His glory, and I am so blessed to enjoy long-distance running, hiking and mountain climbing. Active in mission work, it is a pleasure to give back a portion of what has been so freely given. Perhaps my greatest pleasure is being spoiled by the gift of hospitality given so well by my loving wife, Sonya, as she so beautifully prepares meals and hosts others.

My Review:
In the book, Psalmist, I Am the author has done a thorough study on the book of Psalms in order to give us a better understanding of the book. And has asked us as followers of Christ to put ourselves in the midst of the words the author is speaking. I think that is vitally important to do this to gain better knowledge and to apply it to our everyday lives.

Too many times we may have in the past skipped over the book of Psalms. And maybe associated it with the fact that it is just a book of songs. But by doing this we have reduced its importance. I believe they were placed in the Bible to encourage us and to show us clearly who has the better understanding and our best interests at heart.

Best of all the author has included a place in each section of the book to jot down your thoughts and journal about them.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge from the author for my honest review.
