Review:The One Year Devos for Teen Girls by:Gresh/Weibel

The One Year Devos for Teen Girls
About the Book:
"The One Year Devos for Teen Girls" is a fresh new devotional just for teen girls by popular author Dannah Gresh. The subject matter is current and includes modern topics. The devotions often utilize social media such as viewing YouTube videos and dealing with Facebook. While the subject matter is modern, Gresh, in her solid big-sister fashion, points girls to the unchanging Word of God. She meets girls where they are and simply explains what God's Word says about the issue. The devotional reads like a handbook on living as a teen girl in today's society. Gresh doesn't shy away from controversial issues, but gives a biblical perspective on topics teens are sure to wonder about, such as sexuality, bullying, self-worth, church issues, hypocrisy, and Facebook. Gresh writes the devotional with Suzy Weibel, the wife of her pastor.

About the Author:
Dannah lives in State College, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Bob, and their children, Robby, Lexi, and Autumn, whom the family adopted from China in 2007. She and her husband founded Grace Prep, a new model in Christian high school education, which Bob administrates. She is shamelessly in love with her labradoodle, Stormie.

 My Review:
Dannah Gresh and Suzy Weibel have put together a complete one year devotional for teen girls. It is an all in one type of devotional for teen girls that encompasses subjects relative to girls these days. This devotional is set up so that you can start it any day of the year. Each ay also includes an action step. These action steps are designed for you to put to work what you have learned that day during your devotion time. The authors want to stretch you mentally, physically, and spiritually to where you can be the best possible Christian teen girl that you can be.

I love the way the devotional is set up and I agree that it is a great learning tool for every teen girl out there. It should gain alot of popularity among teens because it hits home on some very interesting topics. Our girls should learn as early as possible that God should be the basis for their life from now on and that they are nothing without Him.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Tyndale Blog Network.
