Litfuse Review: Catie's Secret by:Laura Allen Nonemaker
About the Book:
Catie Caterpillar looks different from any bug Herbie and Bella have ever seen. When Herbie makes fun of Catie, Mayor Benny shows him why he should not judge anyone by how they look. In the end, Catie reveals a secret and the bunnies learn the joy of forgiveness.
Catie's Secret is the third book in Laura Allen Nonemaker's children's series, God's Secret Garden Adventures. Like the two previous books, Benny's Angel and Fred D's Amazing Escape, Catie's Secret invites young readers to join an exciting adventure while it teaches a valuable lesson.
My Review:
Catie's Secret, is such a sweet children's book that takes place in God's secret garden. And as Herbie and Bella bunny soon find out God stores something special inside each one of us that not many others know about until we learn more about that person. It wasn't long long before these two precious bunnies were learning all about their world and the secrets that each one held that God purposely put there not only for the cycle of life but also for our enjoyment.
Herbie sort of really didn't understand Catie, so he made fun of her even after his sister, Bella asked him not to. After he was made clear on the fact that Catie too had a secret, things changed for this little guy. He knew then that he needed to find her and offer her an apology. Having trouble finding Catie, he and Bella finally realized that the butterfly they had run into looked very familiar, they knew then it was Catie and they could see her secret. A secret that was vibrant and full of color.
All of God's creation is especially unique and we each hold inside a special secret place full of love for our creator that is to be shared with those around us.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me for free for my honest review from Litfuse Publicity.
