Review: Kurt, Gert, Jazmine, and Bagel by:Irene Dolnick

About the Book:
BRR! Ouch! Jazmine gasped as she faced life alone and without friends. Enjoy her adventures with Kurt, Gert, and Bagel as they discover friendships together.

About the Author:
Irene Dolnick has four beagles, whose love is the inspiration behind her creativity and who have taught her that dogs are as adventurous as people. Irene lives in El Paso, Texas, a warm climate that allows her to share in the dogs' craziest schemes.

My Review:
A book about dogs and their adventures are sure to delight children of all ages. Kurt, Gert, Jazmine, and Bagel is no different. With the books simple to follow plot and the feelings that the author portrays through the eyes of Jazmine as she meets a new friend Bagel this dogs plight seems to become more like an adventure than something sad. It isn't long before Jazmine and Bagel are off on an amazing cold day adventure that soon makes them forget how much they do or don't have.

The two dogs became fast friends and were all too soon inseparable. But Jazmine is so excited about her new friend she decides to call her other two friends Kurt and Gert to tell them all about it. Jazmine soon began to explain how jealous she was of her two friends and she was afraid she had lost them not only that but was in fear of losing Bagel as well.

This is a darling children's book that also has phonics pronunciations included in the book to make it easier for beginning readers.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
