Review: Pups of the Spirit by:Gorey/Holler
About the Book:
'God gave each puppy a gift of its own, and PUPS OF THE SPIRIT is how they are known!' Peanut is patient, and Kay is so kind. Each of these nine loveable puppies has a special trait to help them grow closer to God. From love and joy to patience and kindness, children will have fun learning about the fruits of the spirit with these playful and cuddly companions.
My Review:
A sweet children's book geared for ages 4-8. Set with methodical rhyme, that is sure to teach your little ones all about the fruits of the spirit and help them memorize them. There are 9 in all and each one of us have a sprinkling of most of them. These sweet little puppies each have that special trait God meant for them and them alone. This would be a very easy way to teach our children all about them.
The Fruits of the Spirit are:
Joy
Peace
Kindness
Self-Control
Gentleness
Patience
Faithfulness
Love
Goodness
The illustrations in this book are drawn perfectly to represent each of the fruits. A sweet, fun loving book just perfect for some reading time with that special little one in your life.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Book Look Bloggers.
