Review: The Essence of Living Faith by:Michael Gifford
About the Book:
Since "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17), the essence of living faith is taking that Word, hiding it in our hearts (Psalm 119:11) and then putting it into action daily. Some of the best examples of living faith are found in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews, also known as "The Faithful Hall of Fame." You are invited to join us in a thirteen lesson study of this monumental chapter. In it you will discover faith in the hearts of God's people that led to amazing accomplishments on earth and blessed reward in heaven. We, too, can have this faith and, with it, we too can overcome the world and celebrate victory in eternity (I John 5:4)

My Review:
A Living faith is action based faith. We are not only to have faith in God, but we are to be an example of that faith and live it out for the world to see. The Essence of Living Faith, could not of come at a better time when this world and its issues are so out of sync and driving madly toward the evil side at an enormous rate. This 13 week lesson study delves deeper and takes us higher on the subject of living faith and learning what that is&how to live out our faith in Him.
God not only will speaks to us through His word but through many other things we do in our daily lives. You can live your life in Him, and claim it to be so. But then an unsaved individual can actually be used by God to show you where you maybe misguiding him or her in your walk. Sometimes we recognize this and correct and sometimes we don't. That is something we need to pray and ask God to help discern. Because we could be living out something that is labeled for God and all about Him when in actuality it is for ourselves. The more we do studies such as these, the closer we can get to the life God wants for us and the closer we get to the relationship we long for with Him.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the publisher.
