Review: Toby Says...Be a Buddy Not a Bully by: Charmaine Hammond

Toby, the Pet Therapy Dog, Says Be a Buddy, Not a Bully
About the Book:
When Toby steps into the path of a dog who shreds his beloved stuffed teddy-bear toy, we see the hurt feelings bullying creates. Beautifully illustrated teaches the importance kindness / being considerate. A great way to start discussions in ages 3 to 10.

About the Author:
Charmaine Hammond is the author of the runaway bestseller, ON TOBY'S TERMS as well as a children series based on that book. She speaks to audiences around the world.

My Review:
Toby, the pet therapy dog series, is a great series to teach children various things about life in general and the life of a pet therapy dog. In a day and age where more and more people are able to use these types of dogs to assist them, it is good for children to learn what these dogs are all about. In this addition to the series Toby is bullied by another dog, and the children receiving the story rush to Toby's side to comfort him. And they learn that it isn't okay to bully anyone no matter what the situation.

This is a great children's series geared for ages 3-10 that teaches chracter to children in a variety of ways. I thought that Toby did exactly as any child should and run to an adult when faced with a bully.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
