Review: Fatal Exchange by:Lisa Harris

 Fatal Exchange (Southern Crimes #2)
About the Book:
Emily Hunt might come from a family of cops, but she never goes looking for an adrenaline rush. She lives the quiet–well, relatively quiet–life of a teacher and thrives on making a difference in the lives of her students. But she’ll have to draw on a well of strength and savvy she didn’t know she had as student Rafael Cerda takes her class hostage for ransom money to save his brother’s life.
Undercover cop Mason Taylor has been working with Rafael to find his brother and bring the cartel thugs who hold him to justice. Can he talk Rafael down from his impulsive actions? And is there something more sinister at work here than he realizes?

Fatal Exchange draws readers into a complex matrix of intertwining lives and unraveling secrets, where every answer creates more questions. Romantic suspense fans will hardly want to come up for air.

My Review:
After the murder of her brother, Emily Hunt had a real hard time recovering. Working as a high school teacher, she has finally found happiness in what she is doing. It seems she finally has her life on track, but that's when Mason decides to walk into her life. The man that she never wanted to see again, the man that was involved in her brothers murder. But now he shows himself and he wants help from her and her students.

Mason is an undercover cop, and he finally has a lead on one of the biggest cases of his career. But he had no clue he would have to ask Emily for help and that he would have to count on them for this lead to go anywhere. Mason isn't to sure she will even agree to help him and he desperately wants her to say yes.

This book is full of mystery, action and laced with some romance!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Revell.
