Review: Meant To Be Mine by:Becky Wade

Meant to be Mine (A Porter Family Novel, #2)
About the Book:
Ty Porter has always been irresistible to Celia Park. All through high school--irresistible. When their paths cross again after college--still irresistible. This time, though, Ty feels exactly the same way about Celia. Their whirlwind romance deposits them at a street-corner Las Vegas wedding chapel.

The next morning they wake to a marriage certificate and a dose of cold reality. Celia's ready to be Ty's wife, but Ty's not ready to be anybody's husband. As a professional bull rider, he lives on the road and can't bring himself to settle down.

Five and a half years pass. Celia's buried her dreams so that she can afford to raise her daughter. Ty's achieved all of his goals. Or thought he had, until he looks again into the face of the one woman he couldn't forget and into the face of the child he never knew he had.

How much will Ty sacrifice to make Celia's dreams come true, to win her trust, and to prove to her that their spontaneous marriage can still become the love of a lifetime?

My Review:
Celia Parker couldn't resist Ty's irresistible good looks, but marrying him seemed like a bad move on her part. She wasn't expecting him to be able to talk her into marriage. As soon as the wedding is over, the bliss is soon masked by the fact that Ty had a girlfriend in another town. He leaves her soon after that. Being a single mother has put demands on her that she never thought possible. She is struggling to provide for herself and their daughter. The daughter, Ty never knew he had.

Ty decides after all this time to ask Celia for forgiveness, but seeing her now brought back alot of old feelings. Soon after seeing Celia and their child, he learns that theirs is a love and life not easily walked away from or forgotten.

Becky Wade has done it again! she can add Meant To Be Mine, second book in the Porter Family series, to a long list of must-have books. Becky Wade writes with a tenacity not seen very often in writers. I enjoy the spunk of the characters and the great plot lines. This one is a winner!

**Disclosure**This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Bethany House.
