Review: The Flip by:Michael Phillip Cash
About the Book:
Julie and Brad Evans are house flippers. They buy low, clean out the old occupants junk, and try to make a profit. Enter Hemmings House on Bedlam Street in scenic Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. Too good a deal to pass up, but with an ominous secret. The old Victorian Mansion has dwellers that do not want to be dispossessed. As the house reveals it's past, will the couples marriage survive The Flip?
About the Author:
Born and raised on Long Island, Michael has always had a fascination with horror writing and found footage films. He wanted to incorporate both with his debut novel, Brood X. Earning a degree in English and an MBA, he has worked various jobs before settling into being a full-time author. He currently resides on Long Island with his wife and children.
My Review:
Michael Phillip Cash, has taken an innocent house flipping venture and turned it into a terrifying escapade. To be inside this man's brain would be down right scary if not crafty, and divisive. Julie and Brad Evans have "flipped" many houses, but when this one deal comes across their path---they decide they can't pass it up. The price is just too good to be true, little did they know, the reason behind the low asking price. The feeling of being watched is enough to give anyone chills even if its words on a page. The author is very good and scaring the pants off of his readers. This book will give you a good scare, that's for sure!
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
