Review: The Desire by:Walsh/Smalley

The Desire (The Restoration Series, #3)
About the Book:
For two years, Allan and Michele have been trying to have a baby. The emotional ride has been taking a toll on their hearts--and their relationship. Michele is obsessed with researching fertility treatments while Allan seems content to spend his time--and their money--on supporting displaced children in Africa. Something's got to give. But they both hope it's not their marriage.

Still, God has a plan for Allan and Michele that they could never have imagined. And all it takes to set it in motion is a change of heart . .

My Review:
Unable to have children of her own, Michele longingly watches children at the park. While her husband Allan spends his free time helping orphans and poor children in Africa. Marilyn, Michele's mother helps at a women's resource clinic, and as a result of Marilyn working at this center she meets a young teen mother that touches her heart to the core. After a talk with her husband, Marilyn comes to realize that they may be able to help the young teen mother, Christina.

Allan has a heart for missions so much so that he is haunted by the visions he has of all the people and children he has seen. He just wants to reach as many of them as he possibly can. This story is a touching one in book three of The Restoration series, it is centered around family and compassion. Sometimes the desires of our hearts reach such a point in our lives that they reach a critical stage of desperation and this book is dead on with this concept. The Desire is a heart rendering story sure to reach us all!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Revell.
