Jackie's husband is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Power To Grow Ministries. Ken previously served in short-term mission with World Servants for 16 years. They have two grown children, Ben and Jessica. Jackie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education/English/Bible.

My Review:
 So many times we ladies jump head long into the finding the right guy before we actually see that maybe we could use some work ourselves before we are even able to find the right guy. That is where the newly updated The New Lady In Waiting by Jackie Kendall comes in. It is a Christian girls guide to working on ourselves first before we go looking for the perfect prince. This book is an excellent one to get your life and your mind in order to receive God's special blessing for you.

 There are so many things about ourselves that need that final run through before we try to looking for that one final relationship that we will settle on for the rest of our lives. For myself I dated several "bozos" before finding the man of my dreams. I prayed for him and he was given to me. Don't get me wrong it took a long time for me to realize how blessed I actually was, but I'm grateful that he stuck it out with me. Through scripture, encouragement, and inspiring stories the author suggests we continue becoming a better Christian daughter to the King before searching for the man of our dreams. If we put God first everything else will fall into place!
