Review: A Star for Jesus by:Crystal Bowman

 A Star for Jesus
About the Book:
While stargazing one night, a child learns about a special star that appeared in the sky a long time ago. This was Jesus' star. Crystal Bowman is a master at rhyme. In A Star for Jesus, she weaves the story of the Bethlehem star with biblical accuracy and charming verses. Children four and under will be able to look at the starry sky and visualize the special star that led the wise men to the new king. Parents, grandparents, and preschool teachers will appreciate its simplicity and easy-to-read verses. Together with heart-warming illustrations and the star-shaped die-cut, A Star for Jesus helps celebrate the miraculous birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

My Review:
Crystal Bowman, is one of my children's favorite authors. When they see the latest board board book from this very talented author their faces light up with joy. She is delighted among the children in our household. To say that she has a way with words is an understatement, she can touch the lives and hearts of your children with her words. Her latest, A Star for Jesus is able to capture the sweetness of a baby being born with a purpose. And ends with the majesty of a king set before His kingdom in all His glory. The Christmas spirit is a spirit full of the love that God shared with us the day He sent His son to redeem us.

What an AWESOME gift to bestow on a people that fail Him daily. This is a board book with 14 pages, is geared for ages 2-5 and retails for $6.29 and can be located here. I enjoyed the book because of the message it sends my children to be reminded of the "REAL" reason for the season!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Book Look.
