My Review:
Relying on God is a good thing, but having to wait on that unanswered pray isn't so much for Bea---she is a very impatient girl and doesn't have a lot of patience with anyone actually. Bea is always withdrawing from the world and slipping off into a good book. She would much rather deal with those characters than the ones in the "real" world. Soon Bea's quiet escape from life is interrupted by Ben the guy that irritates her the most. The friends of Bea and Ben think they see a love match between the two bickering people and decide they need to see if there is more beneath all the arguing.
Leslie Gould is a great writer of Amish Fiction and her series The Courtships of Lancaster County, based on Shakespearean plays have proved well for her fans. She has taken different plays of Shakespeare and written characters to fit them. I think that this was an interesting turn that has suited her well.
