About the Author:
Lawrence O. Richards is currently a full-time author and speaker. He has written over 200 Christian books, including commentaries on every book of the Bible and Zondervan bestselling Adventure Bible and Teen Study Bible, which he did with his wife, Sue.
My Review:
This Bible is #1 for children readers. This one in particular is hard cover and is the New King James version. There are several different versions and covers available for the Adventure Bible. The Adventure Bible isn't just a Bible, it has a lot more included in it to help instruct your child to a deeper knowledge of the Bible. There are 20 full color pages that have inspiring activities and other important information to help those little hearts soak up the love of Jesus. There are maps and a concordance included as well.
My children's favorite as well as my own is the Life in Bible Times feature. I myself am always questioning what it was like back then and these little snippets make your imagination soar. One of the Life In Bible Times snippets discusses Men's Hairstyles back in the day. Israelite men did let their beards grow unlike Egyptians who were clean shaven. This special Bible has several interesting features, I can see why parents and children love it. If you would like to learn more, you can at this link.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the Z Blog Squad.
