Litfuse Review: Twisted Innocence by:Terri Blackstock

 Twisted Innocence (Moonlighters, #3)
About the Book:
When Holly s secrets backfire, is the mess too big to unravel?

Holly Cramer has worked hard to keep the identity of her daughter s father a secret, shamed and embarrassed by the one-night stand. But when the police knock on her door searching for Creed Kershaw, she realizes his identity isn t as hidden as she thought. The fact that Creed is a person of interest in a recent drug-related murder only increases her humiliation.

When Holly s and Creed s paths cross, Holly is unsure whether to be terrified of him or trust him. His tenderness with their daughter makes her want to believe his story that he had nothing to do with the murder. Then she discovers that Creed has a connection to Leonard Miller who killed both her sister s fiance and her brother-in-law, and kidnapped her nephews and things only become more complicated.

Will Creed lead them to the man who has plagued her family, or become another of his victims?"

My Review:
Holly Cramer, a taxi driver was mugged during her time at work. Having just told the police of her mugging, she wasn't the least bit surprised when they show up at her home. But they come to her home to tell her something that has nothing to do with the mugging. Come to find out Creed Kershaw, the father of her newborn baby is a person of interest in a murder case involving drugs. Holly tries her best to avoid Creed, but when Leonard Miller comes to town, it stirs up a lot of feelings that no one is too thrilled about.

Michael Hogan was put in jail for illegally using a firearm during a drug bust. While working picking up garbage from the roadside, he is almost hit by a car that is drove by his brothers killer, Leonard Miller. When Holly and their baby, Lily are kidnapped by Creed, which is already strange enough. But apparently, Holly soon learns that Creed is being hunted down by a killer. Holly will do anything to protect her baby, but what about Lily's father? Leonard Miller has set everyone's nerves on edge--so many things are resting on what this man will do next.

Full of anticipation and intrigue, Twisted Innocence is a definite page turner!
