Review: Growl by:Ashley Fontainne

 Growl
About the Book:
My name is Sheryl Ilene Newcomb. And yes, my initials are S.I.N. A funny little piece of whimsical humor my parents found amusing when I arrived.

Then, it turned out to be true. Looking back with wiser eyes now, my family and I concluded that the events leading up to my transformation started the summer I turned nine. But the day we realized there was a problem, and no turning back, was a week before I started my senior year at Junction City High. The day the fangs and claws appeared and the monster inside of me emerged.

When mutilated corpses appeared near a pile of brush down by Caney Creek, everything changed. Because evil woke up and growled, its ominous rumblings heard by every living thing in Locasia County, Mississippi.

My Review:
Danger seems to follow Sheryl Ilene Newcomb, especially since the day of her first vision, the day she found out her dear Nana was gruesomely murdered. As she grew older, Sheryl believes more and more that she was possibly at the scene of the murder. Sheryl soon realizes that there is a greater evil involved than everyone realizes and because of this, everyone she cares about is in danger. With her new found reality of who or what she is, she will do anything to keep everyone around her safe.

When her boyfriend and her brother go missing, Sheryl will fight to the death to keep the, both safe. As everything around her starts to collapse, she will find out the truth she so desperately keeps searching for. A story that took me one day to complete, from cover to cover. It was that good! Full of mystery, action, and intrigue. Looking forward to reading many more books by this author. Very good read with some bad language, but overall a good book.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Pump Up Your Book.
