My Review:
Life can seem like a contact sport at times, but to view it completely as one, in my opinion can be a mistake. There is much more to life then just relational types things, it definitely goes beyond that and is way more serious and a lot more focus driven. But after reading Beyond Championships, the author tries to get his readers to take on the task at "doing" life better to the next level.
Sharing the secrets to his success over the years, he hopes to instill in us a sense of belonging and a sense of inspiration never before seen. If you want to learn how to make better choices in life, this book is worth the read. Dru relies heavily on the fact that good, reliable, sound mentorship can be beneficial or maybe even the best idea for a young person. With sound mentorship a young person can reach higher than ever imagined.
Taken from Coach Dru's hard life, and lessons as well as other experiences, he provides a good basis for simply being better at life.
