My Review:

 I am the mother of four great kids. My daughter is our one and only girl and she is the oldest at almost 18. We have a 12 year old son as well as a 9 year old son, bringing in the rear is our youngest son, Joshua who is 4. When I told Joshua that I was receiving a Jesus doll to review, he wasn't interested and even proceeded to tell me that he was a boy and he doesn't play with dolls. I knew when he met Jesus, it would be a lot different.

 Much to his initial avoidance, I was surprised to see him happily playing with the doll version of the man we discuss around our house regularly. It wasn't long before Joshua and Jesus were showing up everywhere. I was glad to see Joshua come around, this was a great opportunity and I didn't want him to waste it. He loves Him! I am thrilled about this doll because it was created by mothers and because this gives my little boy a connection to the name and the man he has already learned so much about. I wish we had more items like these for our children.

 Appropriate for children between the ages of 2-6, comes a Jesus doll and book. The doll and book give the parent the perfect opportunity to introduce our Savior to our children. The book closely follows scripture carefully explaining what Jesus did and what He wishes for us to do, which is spread His love and point others toward Him. Such as loving others, forgiving others, and praying. Each verse is highlighted by sharing what Jesus did and giving our children in wording that they can understand, ideas or suggestions to help them be more like Him.

 The doll has a soft body. He has a sweet, loving face. The book that comes with the doll has precious illustrations and consists of approximately 25 pages. In my opinion it is read best as a read aloud. The reason I suggest that is so that this will begin what will be the first of many conversations with your child about Jesus.
