My Review:
Stella Varland, former pageant queen, life took an unexpected turn when she and her husband got a divorce. Now she suffers from constant anxiety attacks and the chance of possibly having to move in with her mom. But amazingly her mom pulls off the unthinkable, and snags Stella a job as the interior designer for a local run-down old theater. The theater is almost like an answer to prayers, that is until she learns who the contractor and foreman is.
Contractor Chase Taylor knows he has done many things wrong to many people, especially Stella Varland and her sister Kat. But past is the past and he is ready to live his life to the fullest. After losing his fiancé, he decided it was time to have no regrets. Moving back home to Bayou Bend, he finds not many things have change, or at least he thought until he seen Stella after so long. Let’s just say it was love at first anxiety attack?
As the theater begins to get remodeled, Chase and Stella begin to butt heads, quite a lot. But with them both struggling from the brokenness that is trying to consume them, that maybe just maybe they better together than apart.
Being the sequel to All’s Fair In Love And Cupcakes, Love Arrives In Pieces has it all. The adventure, the romance, it even has some amusing parts. After reading Kat’s story previously, I knew that this book was sure to be an amazing read. And I definitely wasn’t wrong. I love Betsy St. Amant’s books! I can’t wait to see what she has in store next!
