Review: Now and Forever by:Mary Connealy

Now and Forever (Wild at Heart, #2)
About the Book:
Matthew Tucker survives a grizzly attack by jumping over a cliff into a rushing river. Unexpectedly, Shannon Wilde takes the plunge with him. Going through a series of waterfalls and rapids turns into a bonding experience.

By the time they battle their way back to civilization, Shannon has been thoroughly compromised, and only a wedding will do. A mountain man who loves to wander in the wilderness far from other people finds himself hitched to a young woman with a passel of relatives, a homestead, and a flock of sheep to care for.

As they learn to live with each other, strange things begin to happen on Shannon’s land. Someone evil clearly wants to drive them off, but whoever it is apparently didn’t count on Tucker. Trying to scare Matthew Tucker just makes him mad–and trying to hurt the woman he’s falling in love with sets off something even Matthew never expected.

My Review:
After going to war dressed as a man, Shannon Wilde, the middle sister of the Wilde girls, established her own homestead, with help from no man. She loves animals, especially her sheep. So much so she would kill for them if she had to. But one thing her future plans didn't include was plunging off the side of a cliff with handsome, Matthew Tucker.

After coming face to face with a grizzly, falling off a cliff and half drowning, Matthew Tucker wakes up in a dark cave feeling the worse he has ever felt. But with pretty Shannon, he sure he can conquer the world. Surviving five days and nights with a broke leg, busted open head, and a few unknown gashes, Matthew and Shannon follow the coal filled tunnels by the light of a cup of fire.

After being rescued through a small hole in the ceiling of the cave, the local parson, gives them some unexpected news. Due to the many nights they were together in the cave, they must marry, to save Shannon's reputation. After many moment's of arguing and complaining, their marriage is official and they are on the way to Shannon's homestead. But one thing they didn't expect is there is a silent man running around in the dark, driving people off their homesteads. With his eye's on Shannon, they must find a way to stop he man before it's to late. An unexpected turn of events will leave much blood shed.

Now and Forever is book two in the Wild At Heart series. I just adore Mary Connealy's books. And I've read almost every single book she has written. I love each book’s adventure and the instant action they involve. I can’t wait to read Kylie and Shannon’s sister Bailey’s story. It’s sure to be an amazing read!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Bethany House.
