Litfuse Review: A Heart's Home by:Colleen Coble

About the Book:
This Christmas, a tragic loss at Fort Laramie ushers in hope and healing. When a young mother dies after giving birth at Fort Laramie, Emmie Croftner is shaken by the death of her dear friend--and reminded of the dangers of childbirth. She won't be able to hide her own pregnancy much longer. She's dreading the day that Isaac Liddle, the handsome soldier she adores, discovers her secret. Then the young infant's father offers a solution: Emmie should marry him so the child can have a family. With the Sioux Wars threatening soldier and civilian alike, a ready-made family could be the answer to Emmie's prayers for safety. But at what cost to her heart--and Isaac's?

My Review:
Emmie Croftner wants nothing more than to marry Isaac Liddle. But her secret is becoming harder and harder to bare. She knows he isn’t like her ex, but she can’t help but feel that he will run away if he knows. Soon her worries drift further as the Sioux become bound and determined to take over the fort. Each day it seems, that Isaac is closer and closer to get killed.

Tragedy strikes and Emmie finds herself, bound to a promise to marry her dear dead friend’s husband. Even though it’s to take care of her friend’s baby, Emmie feels that she can only marry Isaac. But she’s never been one to break a promise. Emmie knows she must do what’s honorable, but even if it means losing love again?

A Heart’s Home is book 6 in the Journey of the Heart series. This book has you on the edge of your seat all the way to the end. Colleen Coble is an amazing author and I enjoy reading all of her books. This series has become a favorite of mine, and I hate to see it end so soon. But this book being the last installment in the series, had an epic end! I can’t wait to read Colleen Coble’s next book!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Litfuse Publicity.
