Review: The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden by:De Young

The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden
About the Book:
The burning bush. David and Goliath. Joseph and the coat of many colors. The Bible is full of classic stories that fill children with awe and wonder. But kids need to know how all those beloved stories connect to Scripture's overarching message about God's love for the world. In The Biggest Story, best-selling author and father of six, Kevin DeYoung, leads readers on an exciting journey through the Bible, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. Short and extremely readable, this imaginative retelling of the biblical narrative can be read in one sitting and features action-packed illustrations that will bring the message of the Bible to life for the whole family.

My Review:
The first impression I had about this lovely children's book was WOW! It is a strange book in the sense that it very unique. It explains Bible stories that most children have heard of but in a very children-like way. It is hard to explain but the wording is simple but it's not. I really like how the author went about writing this most magnificent book. Included in The Biggest Story are several stories from the Bible that explain everything in terms that a young child could understand.

God always knew that Adam and Eve would eventually mess up. To me all of this was already precluded long before their existence. But God also knew that in order for us to end up with Him in the end He would have to send a Savior. The Bible is filled with fascinating stories and people. Most of those if not all are a lot like you and me. They are everyday humans trying to survive in a very evil land but trying to honor God each day. Some days are harder than others but each day we all still try and that is what God encourages us all to do, keep trying!

In The Biggest Story, the author and illustrator take us on a journey of no return. One that embarks us as well as our children on a path that leads straight to Him. I loved the book and my children do, as well. A beautiful story about our Father that shows His very endearing love for His children!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Flyby Promotions.
