Review: Every Girl Gets Confused by:Janice Thompson
About the Book:
Katie Fisher and Brady James may be a match made in heaven, but that doesn't seem to guarantee them a happily ever after accompanied by angelic choirs. In fact, the sounds being heard at the bridal shop where she works are on the contentious side lately, as a bride- and groom-to-be try to mediate the growing rivalry between their basketball-obsessed families in the middle of play-off season. On top of that, Katie's parents are nagging her to get out of Dallas and come home to tiny Fairfield where her former boyfriend Carson is waiting for her, ready to rekindle their relationship. Oy vey! What's a girl to do? And will she ever be able to wear that gorgeous wedding dress she won?
The breezy fun continues as Janice Thompson throws everyone's favorite small-town girl into big-city bridal chaos--and makes her choose between the love she thought she lost and the love she stumbled upon in the aftermath.
My Review:
Katie Fisher’s life is finally going great. She has a wonderful job, the man of her dreams, and an amazingly beautiful wedding dress stored up and waiting on her big day. If that big day will ever come. With her grandmother’s wedding nearing, everyone is in a bit of a tizzy. Things have to be planned and done before the wedding. The flowers, the caterer ,and above all, the dress. With everything being a bit hectic, with orders coming in; in overabundance, Katie really doesn’t have the time to think about what would happen if her ex called her. And lets just say she better get to thinking on that one.
A phone call later and life as she knows it in suddenly confused. With so much going on, what is Katie going to do about her ex, Casey? Brady sure isn’t liking the idea of Casey being around again. And with her parents wanting her home, she finds herself at a crossroads. With so much on the line, how will she ever choose? And will she ever be truly happy with her decision?
Every Girl Gets Confused is book two in the Brides With Style series. This book is a wonderful read. It captures your attention form the very beginning. I just love how wonderfully this book is wrote. I have truly fallen in love with this series. I can’t wait to read this authors next book!
