Review: Shattered Trust by:J. Chris Richards

 Shattered Trust
About the Book:
TRUST... GIVEN? OR EARNED? As Officer Logan Taul's nightstick plummets toward the teen's arm, he sees the monster he has become reflected in the warped storefront window. Thus begins his journey, back to the officer, man, and father he wants to be. Logan must face his own nature and insecurities and defy those who do not want him to succeed. His quest for redemption leads him to search for the family he deserted. Despite physical attacks on both himself and those he loves, and attempts to frame him, can he bring his family back together? Will he once more wear the badge in a position of trust?

My Review:
Officer Logan Taul hasn't been as honest and tight lased as a police officer should. He and many other officer have been using their powers as cop's to do some despicable things, like illegally searching people's cars. One night everything changes for Logan. Seeing his reflection in a window, he sees that he is no longer the man he once was. And he knows it is time to change.

Logan decides to talk to the Captain about his and fellow brothers in blue's actions. The Captain cant believe they were doing something so despicable. Many officers are fired or lowered in pay and rank. As everything changes around Logan, he decides it's time to start acting like a better person. He begins volunteering a a place for youth, where he teaches them math. He finds joy in helping the kids understand.

Shattered Trust is a wonderful book full of action and redemption. I really enjoyed this book! I loved reading it and hope to see many more novels from this author.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
