  • Cultivating personal godliness
  • Prioritizing your family
  • Guarding your ministry effectiveness
  • Planning, preparing, and preaching sermons
  • Balancing pastoral roles and duties
Being a pastor means wearing many hats, weathering lots of pressure, and bearing great responsibility. Let H. B. Charles be a trusted advisor as you do the serious work of shepherding a flock of God.

My Review:
H.B. Charles is a real good authority on helping ministers and pastors achieve success. My husband is a minister and he really enjoys reading what this man of God has to say. I'm grateful I finally found an author that he can learn from and find encouragement from. In this writing by the author, he leads pastors on how to evenly balance all life has to offer them along with the calling that God has placed on them. It is a daunting task that most of the time proves to be worthy of a great, full life.

The author tells us it is important to keep your family at the top of the list of already growing and overwhelming list before us.  Balancing the different roles the pastor has each day gets easier once he gets his priorities in order. The author shows us the ways he went about learning this balance and shares from his own personal experiences.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
