My Review:
A hug isn't ever just a plain ole' hug. It is many, many types of different things and in this story entitled I'm Going to Give You a Bear Hug, the main character gives you all different types of hugs to choose from. Such as a whale hug or a what on earth is this? hug.
This story is perfect for any age group but preschoolers and early, early elementary can appreciate it too. The lines are simple and straight to the point. The illustrations are so stinkin' cute, too. This book would make a good read aloud book but it is perfectly suited for bedtime, as well. It has just over 30 pages and has real simple lines and they are short. So it is not long and drawn out. My little one loved the story and I got a huge hug out of it to boot.
