Jehovah-Jireh: The God Who Provides: 60 Story-Based Meditations and Prayers
About the Book:
Compelling Teaching on Relevant Scriptures, Plus Passionate Prayers and Engaging Testimonies of God’s Power

As followers of Jesus, we have been grafted into Abraham’s family tree and receive the same blessings God promised him (Romans 11:17).
We are God’s children, and everything He has belongs to us (Galatians 4:7).
God will certainly supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
He is Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14).

If you're in need of God's provision, Mary J. Nelson's Jehovah-Jireh will comfort, encourage, and inspire you on a journey of prayer and devotion. Nelson shares the Word without compromise, releases hope, and focuses on the heavenly Father's infinite love and grace.

My Review:
We all struggle at some point with the ultimate God providing for us. It doesn't matter how confident a believer seems to be on the outside, I guarantee you they have cried out to God at one time or another because they need Him to provide something for them. The need could range from small like passing a test or please let the store have those items I needed to great such as job, house, car, marriage needs. Bottom line, we need God to provide for us. Yes, we are a needy people but He is awesome God that wants us to completely rely on Him and only Him for all of our needs no matter how great or small.

God has been a comfort for me for so long. I don't know or even want to know what it would be like if He wasn't. The author gets that so she has put together a very comforting and encouraging blend of all God has to offer in devotion form. Something that we can use on a daily basis to reaffirm His promises to us. A great way to stay inspired and encouraged.

My favorite was Linda's story. I to have been in that place of untruths people tell. When we as the proposed victim doesn't have a clue what is going on behind our backs. It is discouraging and sad. We feel defeated and don't know where we can turn. Thankfully, there is still hope for us!
