Review: Dr. Guinea Pig George by:Becky Benishek

 Dr. Guinea Pig George
About the Book:
Dr. Guinea Pig George really does think he's a doctor--and it never occurs to him that he might be wrong!

Follow clever George through a very unexpected day as he navigates potential peril, takes advantage of a peculiar situation, and comes out on top.

These days, it's more important than ever for all of us, children and adults, to believe in ourselves, even if what we aspire to seems out of reach at first glance. If you don't take a chance, you'll never know what might have been.

My Review:
A sweet story of a very capable doctor's assistant found in a little pet guinea pig. The very absent minded Dr. George was forever misplacing things and looking over things. So it was no surprise when the family pet went along again for another wild ride with the doctor on his daily rounds to see patients. One day, Dr. Guinea Pig George is found out but luckily it doesn't end as bad as he imagined.

A precious little story about being small and being curious about the world around you. I like the plot-line and the illustrations--just wish there would of been more color involved. A great for little ones, overall. Can be read by an early elementary age reader or can be a good read aloud, as well.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own.
